Time frame5th Call for Proposals of the Latvia–Lithuania Programme is launched from 17 July 2013 with the deadline of 17 September 2013.
5th Call for Proposals is aimed to absorb funding of the Programme to the maximum possible extent and to enhance effective implementation of the Programme according to planned objectives; therefore just one Direction of Support is opened.
Projects should directly contribute to the indicators provided in the table below:

in Latvia: Kurzeme, Zemgale, Latgale
in Lithuania: Klaipėda, Telšiai, Šiauliai, Panevėžys, Utena regions and Kaunas region (as an adjacent region of the Programme territory).
Local and regional public authorities; national institution; public equivalent body; non-governmental organisations.
Projects have to involve at least one Lithuanian and one Latvian partner, which is registered or permanently located and actively operating in the eligible territory of the Programme.
There are ca EUR 1.4 million available from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the projects.
The following table indicates the minimum and maximum ERDF subsidy that projects can apply for:

*Investment project is a project in which budget line 6 (equipment and infrastructure) consists of more than 50% of the total eligible project budget.
For projects requesting subsidy between EUR 30.000 and 50.000, investments are not encouraged.
Programme is co-financing 85% of total project eligible budget.
Submission of applications
Applications must be sent by e-mail: email@example.com (including applications with electronic signature) to the Programme’s Joint Technical Secretariat no later than 17 September 2013, 2 p.m. One original hard copy of applications shall be sent by post to the Programme’s Joint Technical Secretariat no later than 17 September 2013 (date of the post stamp). Original hard copy of the application can be delivered personally to the JTS office no later than 17 September 2013, until 4 p.m.
