Open Days of the Programme's Annual Event
19 project institutions opened their doors to show local inhabitants and guests the results of the project and joint cooperation.

During the Open Days it was possible to visit Municipal newly opened Operational information Centre in Jelgava (Latvia) which was established within the project CBRM II or visit the exhibition of installations from recycled materials in Uzvara park of Jelgava which was made during the final project 'Vital Neighbours" art event 'Second Breath' on 10 September where artists from Latvia and Lithuania created the sculptures from recycled materials (metal).

In Jelgava Craft Secondary School was possible to receive consultations on hair style, try the haircut, see the haircut models of the students and get information about achievements of students and teachers.


In Grobina primary school (Latvia) pupils of nearest primary schools (1-4 grade) and teachers had a possibility to get to know how learning process make more up to date, attractive and interactive. Teachers learned about
optional education programme "By saving environment we save our future".


Participants had an opportunity to visit Lithuanian Maritime Academy in Klaipeda (Lithuania) and see how the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System simulator is working or choose one of the nine crafts centres in Bauska, Viesite, Livberze, Svete, Zasa and learn some new skills.


In Rokiskis Youth Centre youngsters participated in practical painting and ceramic lessons and visit the exhibition of products made during the workshops.

In Kraslava local community was invited to participate in two excursions to the palace complex of Kraslava renovated within the project "New Quality Image" and tour to the historic centre Krāslava.
